A large group of famous photographers which is a co-operative owned and ran by the members, to become a member have to undergo a rigorous process of self-selection. Every year on the last weekend of June the photographers will have a meeting in either New York, Paris or London where affairs for the company are discussed.

She was born in Antwerp raised in America, began her career as a photographer as an assistant of Eliot Elisofon and Gjon Mili for life magazine. Studied at art history at the university of Madrid, then at the Ecole du Louvre.
In 2001 and 2002 Franck did a series of photographs on troy island, Ireland and another on Tibetan Buddhist children in India and Nepal.
