The class was spilt up into three groups and took separately to the light studio through out the morning, we where told about what equipment we’d be using and the health and safety so none of the equipment would be damaged.
The flash is made to go off when taking the image, as you see the flash is hitting the right side of my face from the viewers perspective. Due to the amount of time we had me and my partner just did simple portraits.
We ask the teacher Toby to step in as the model because me and Jake (my partner) where both feeling camera shy at the time. Using a reflector we was able to reduce the amount of shadow from the left side of his face.
