I shall more than likely get the second image done first for the plastic pollution project due to the fact I find it’ll take the least amount of doing to complete and the location is close to my local area. I’ll be exploring a woodland area near Gunnislake with my glass orb, attempting to capture unreal reflections from trees, grass and other things which are a part of the woods and if possible explore it. I will find different things to place the orb on, grass, wood just so I am not holding it when comes to taking the shot also will use a tripod for this image and the other two. The first image is searching beaches for plastic pollution and anything out of the ordinary that relates to protracting the sea either in Plymouth or somewhere in Cornwall then edit the photograph in black & white to get a similar look as Trevor Ashby I’ll also keep in mind use of negative space of the objects which I come across which I’ve seen in Trevor’s work. Third image is inspired by a Gregg Sagle project detritus where he either has covered a person in rubbish or he made rubbish into the figure of a man giving face features like eyes and a mouth but left out the nose making the it look pretty odd. Gregg also places the rubbish man in strange social scenery bring humour into his images. What I’ve decided to do in contrasted to Sagle’s work is having multi models covered in plastic bags, tobacco pouches, roach card packets, and may more even from the use of tin cans i’ll make a tin can man. Then place a man amongst the rest of the rubbish people just wearing an normal looking suit.
