Time Lapse 2

Yesterday the whole class went to a beach in Plymouth we were told to do time lapsing but I didn’t get round to doing it so today I booked out a camera and went to the city centre with my glass orb to try one out there.

The time lapse turn out blurry because I made the mistake of putting the camera and lens in manual not keeping in mind to do or check the proper adjustments for depth of focus still looks interesting but definitely could of turned out better. So that I feel fully confident in creating time lapses I’ll continue to experiment either sometime next week whilst i’m in college or at home this week, I think it’ll help me a lot not just with the understanding of time lapsing but the camera’s manual settings.

I spent two hours and a half trying to find a decent angle for where I would place the glass orb starting the one and a half time lapse cycle as soon as I got home yesterday. It was fun and stressful due to it taking so long setting up two tripods up, one for the camera and the other holding the orb on top held together with blu tack also adjusting both to get a great enough angle so it would cover the whole sofa and the people on it. I’ll continue to look into what less I can do with the time lapse on the mac like turning the whole image upside down so the surrounding within the glass orb is the right way up and ask teachers for guidance, I shall show any further edits on this blog in the future.
